Girls' Day at ROB Lübeck

Today is the Girls' Day - a day which shapes the career orientation of girls in the future. Our institute ROB Lübeck participated in this nationwide event by demonstrating several applications of robotics in surgical planning and radiation treatment planning.

In the presence of two groups of school girls, ROB researcher Janis Hagenah explained enthusiastically the background and basic principles of a robotic setup for head motion compensation (see photo 2) and motorised surgery microscope as well as an optical head tracking system (see photo 3).

ROB Lübeck inspires and trains the next generation of women engineers!
