Kurzbiographie

Felix von Haxthausen received his M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Lübeck in 2017. During his studies, he spent an exchange semester in Istanbul, Turkey and a research internship in Manipal, India. In 2018, he joined the Institute for Robotics and Cognitive Systems for his PhD studies. His research field is in the area of image-guided therapy. More specifically, he investigates how ultrasound and Augmented Reality can be used to navigate endovascular interventions - with the main goal of replacing standard X-ray imaging.
